My neighbour has been hosting international students and guests for the past 5 years, and so I also had to challenge myself -- after all why not try it.

I came across this site two years ago while searching for sample templates for writing a visitor visa invitation letter for submission to the Home Office.

After an in-depth research, inquisition, and video conversation over Google Meet, I officially made the move, sent the invite, and hosted my first guest early last year. Samuel from Nigeria is his name -- but he prefers to be called Sam.

His presence and outgoing nature brought lots of happiness and blessings to my family more than words can express.

Anyone considering to offer such hospitality should do it. It is very worthwhile and life changing for everyone. He left some weeks ago when validity of his visa ended but we still keep in contact and cant wait to see each other again in future.

It was the best summer for everyone here. Each week I saw more of his personality and 3 month or more is the perfect time frame for such an experience!!
