Having a friend from another country seems like seeing the world through the eyes of your international friends.

Since 2014, we have made it part of our tradition to invite and host various nationalities in our home. I thoroughly enjoy learning about their family, friends, culture, favorite foods, school, places they have traveled and vice versa!

Some of our favorite things to do together include watching English and German movies, going to the grocery store, going for a boat ride, exploring the city of Berlin, going to watch Bundesliga games, trying new restaurants, and listening to music together.

Our house will always be open to our vetted friends! We hope to go to different continents in the near future to visit their homeland as well!

It is fulfilling to invite them as guests and bade them goodbye as family.
