51 year old Female from Los Angeles, United States Hosting new-found friends from other countries is one of the most rewarding things a family can do.

I am beyond proud to have an Italian “son,” a German “son,” a Thai “daughter” and an African “daughter” added to my brood of 3 children. My 4 grandchildren love their aunts and uncles too!!

Learning about another country’s culture and ideas is the best way to bring this world closer together. I wouldn’t give up my experiences hosting students for all the money in the world.

My “kids” are special to me! And I love going to their homes to visit!
