About me:

41 year old Male from Rio, Brazil Never in my life growing up had I thought about hosting or even really knew anyone from another country.

When I was approached and asked if I would be interested in hosting and accommodating for 3 months, I was at first confused but immediately got drawn to this particular arrangement.

After I hosted that first year I was hooked for life. I truly enjoy having my first international friend, Acca, from Angola returning each summer almost as if we knew each other our entire lives.

My only regret is why I didn't know about the great notion of hosting all those years; but it's great that I am now deeply into it.

I look forward to expanding my circle of global friends.
